MINIMALLY INVASIVE SURGERY – FASTER RECOVERY, LESS PAIN
Dr Sartawi’s technique is considered minimally invasive surgery. This technique is muscles sparring, it spares all muscles and tendons surrounding the knee, which improves the recovery of the patient.
Dr Sartawi has performed over 1000 total knee replacement surgeries, using his new technique with a success rate of 97%. This technique has been published in peer-review journals.

BESPOKE TREATMENT PROGRAMME
Dr Sartawi has developed a comprehensive treatment programme, before and after the surgery. The treatment programme ensures the least amount of pain and rapid recovery. The patient can walk independently and be discharged from the hospital, hours after the surgery.
Recent studies in knee replacement demonstrate that discharging patients from the hospital within the first 24 hours after the operation leads to a lower risk of thromboembolic events and helps patients return to their daily activities sooner.
Dr Sartawi is an American and Canadian Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon. He holds a fellowship in total joint replacement at the internationally renowned Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois, one of the top five centres in orthopaedics in the US.
